Many organisations only discover how much their IT provider controls when they try to leave. The domain is registered in the provider’s name. The only administrator account belongs to someone who left the provider two years ago. Nobody is quite sure where the backups go, or who still has remote access to the office.
Taking back control
We plan the handover so that ownership of everything important comes back to you: domain names and DNS, administrator accounts, email and cloud platforms, licences, firewalls, Wi-Fi and backup systems. Each is documented and secured with credentials you hold.
Closing the old doors
Outgoing providers often keep remote access tools, shared admin accounts and old passwords long after the contract ends. We find them and remove them, so that access ends when the relationship does.
No disruption for your people
The switch is planned around your business so that staff can carry on working. We confirm everything is in place before the old arrangements are switched off.
A security review included
A change of provider is the ideal moment to look at what was there before. We report on what we find, from missing updates to unprotected accounts, and fix the important issues first.
