Security Personnel

Technology can detect, record and lock. It cannot read a situation, calm an argument at the gate, notice that the delivery driver is asking the wrong kind of questions or make a judgement call at two in the morning. For that you need people, and the difference between good and mediocre security personnel is enormous.

Matched to the role

A residential security officer for a family needs discretion, warmth with children and an understanding of household life. A protective officer travelling with an executive needs planning skills and calm under pressure. A site security officer at a commercial property needs vigilance and good judgement with the public. We select and brief personnel for the specific role and client, rather than filling a rota.

Our own people

Valkyrie’s security personnel are employed directly, so we know them, train them and stand behind them. Where a deployment needs extra capacity, we use trusted partners, briefed and supervised to the same standard. In the UK, most security roles legally require a Security Industry Authority licence, and everyone we deploy is appropriately licensed.

Where we provide security

Private residences and estates, permanently or while the family is away. Offices, reception and front-of-house. Events, from private parties to corporate functions. Protective security for individuals at times of heightened risk.

Low profile by default

Most clients do not want security that announces itself. Our personnel are briefed to fit in with the environment, whether that is a family home, a boardroom or a black-tie dinner.

For short-term protection during a crisis, see crisis security services. To decide what level of protection is needed, begin with a threat analysis. Discuss your requirements.
