Counter-Surveillance

A van parked outside the house for the third morning running. A face you are sure you saw at the gym and again at the station. A former business partner who seems to know where you were last weekend. The feeling of being watched is unsettling, and it is easy to dismiss as paranoia. Sometimes it is nothing. Sometimes it is exactly what it feels like.

What counter-surveillance does

Rather than watching a subject, our team watches the people around you. Operatives position themselves discreetly along your routes and routines, looking for the same vehicles, people and patterns that a surveillance team or an individual stalker would leave behind. If someone is following you, it usually becomes clear quickly. If no one is, you can stop worrying.

Who asks for it

High-net-worth individuals and their families. Executives involved in disputes, takeovers or sensitive negotiations. People going through acrimonious separations. Journalists, campaigners and anyone who has received threats. Businesses that suspect a competitor or investigator is watching their premises.

If we find something

We will tell you what we saw, identify vehicles and individuals where we can, and advise on next steps, whether that is reporting to the police, legal action, changes to your routine or a full personal security plan. Where the concern is technical rather than physical, a TSCM sweep can check your home, car and office for devices.

Learning to spot it yourself

Our security training includes counter-surveillance awareness, so that you and your staff recognise the signs in future.
