Intrusion Detection Systems

The alarm goes off at three in the morning. It went off last Tuesday too, because of a spider on a sensor, and the week before when the cleaner forgot the code. This time, the keyholder assumes it is another false alarm and rolls over. An alarm system is only as good as the trust people place in it, and the response that follows when it sounds.

Designed around real use

We review or design intrusion detection around how a property is actually used: when it is occupied, where people move, which areas matter most and how pets, staff and visitors behave. The aim is to detect genuine intrusions quickly while keeping false alarms rare enough that every activation is taken seriously.

Monitoring and response

Detection is only the start. Who receives the alert? Who goes to check, and how quickly? When are the police involved? We help clients set up monitoring and response arrangements that work in the middle of the night, when the principal is abroad or when the property is empty.

Advice, not a sales pitch

Valkyrie does not sell or install alarm systems. We advise on what your property needs and work with specialist installation partners, so our recommendations are driven by your security rather than by a product list. We can also help you specify a system and assess proposals from installers.

Part of a layered approach

Intrusion detection works best alongside a strong perimeter, effective access controls and a clear emergency response plan. Talk to us about your property.
