Infidelity

Suspicion is exhausting. The phone that is always face down. The late meetings that never seem to appear in a diary. The feeling that conversations stop when you walk into the room. Living with doubt affects sleep, work and family life, and it rarely fades on its own.

Facts, either way

People often assume an investigation will confirm their worst fears. Sometimes it does. Often it does not, and the explanation turns out to be ordinary. Either outcome is better than not knowing. Our job is simply to establish what is happening, calmly and accurately, so that you can decide what to do next on the basis of facts rather than fear.

Does it still matter legally?

Since no-fault divorce came into force in England and Wales in April 2022, you no longer need to prove adultery to end a marriage. But facts can still matter. They may be relevant to how assets are being spent, to who is spending time around your children, or to your own safety. If proceedings are likely, we can work with your family solicitor from the outset.

How we work

We start with a confidential conversation to understand your concerns and what you need to know. From there, enquiries may include research, discreet observation and, where it is justified and proportionate, surveillance. We report what we see, nothing more, nothing less.

What not to do

It can be tempting to check a partner’s phone, install tracking apps or read their email. Accessing someone’s devices or accounts without permission can be a criminal offence and can undermine a later case. Speak to us first.

If you feel you are the one being watched

Relationship breakdowns sometimes work the other way. If you suspect your own phone, car or home is being monitored, see our TSCM and bug sweeping services.
