Last month, Valkyrie had the privilege of supporting a family during their skiing trip to Meribel at the heart of the 3 Vallées.

Our role focused on planning and execution to ensure a safe and memorable experience for the family.

From the outset, our team, both on-site and behind the scenes, coordinated every element requested, encompassing travel logistics, on-site security measures, and support on the slopes. This comprehensive approach facilitated a seamless transition from home to holiday, allowing our clients to fully immerse themselves in skiing without distraction or concern.

As always, post an overseas endeavour, there are some key takeaways.

1.Detailed planning: Tailor logistics and security plans based on individual preferences and potential threats, maintaining discretion, and incorporating flexible contingency plans.

2.Seamless execution: Coordinate operations with all stakeholders, familiarise yourself with the location/area, ensure constant communication, swift responses, and proactive security measures.

3.Personalised service: Understand client expectations and provide attentive support without intrusion.

4.Required skillset: Ensure the team possesses the necessary skills and experience, particularly in skiing.

5.Continuous improvement: Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, update protocols based on feedback and evolving threats, and invest in training where required.

Have a great weekend 😊
