Just as we thought it was going to be a quiet weekend, we received a late Friday request for a ‘fast ball’ tasking from one of our law firm clients. So much so, that one of the executive team had to chip in and assist. Our client was in discussions with a group about possible sanctions being actioned on specific individuals and organisations. However, these talks were very sensitive and had to be done at a neutral location – Spain. The team headed out last minute, swept the conference room before the meetings took place, and swept the hotel rooms the lawyers were staying in to ensure they were free of compromise. We also conducted live monitoring to ensure that nothing was bought into the room via the staff or visitors. Overall, a busy weekend and a successful tasking. A tasking that again highlighted the need to have all equipment and associated documentation ready to go.
