Office Buildings, Warehouses and Retail Outlets

A man in a high-visibility vest carrying a ladder can walk into most office buildings in the country. A courier arriving at the loading bay at the end of a shift is rarely questioned. A shopper who drifts through a door marked staff only usually meets nobody until the stockroom. Everyday commercial premises are built to welcome people in, which is exactly what makes them easy to exploit.

What we try to do

With your written authority, our testers attempt what a thief, a corporate spy or a disgruntled former employee might try: getting into the building, reaching sensitive floors, accessing unattended devices or documents, entering stockrooms and yards after hours, and leaving without being challenged.

Where commercial sites are weakest

Busy receptions and shared entrances. Fire doors and smoking areas. Loading bays and goods-in. Cleaning and maintenance contractors working out of hours. Staff who are too polite to challenge someone who looks as if they belong.

Safe, controlled and authorised

Every test runs to agreed rules of engagement, with named contacts on your side and a letter of authority carried by the tester. We avoid disruption to trading and stop immediately if anyone’s safety could be affected.

What you get

A clear account of how far we got, how, and what would have stopped us, with photographs and practical fixes. Most improvements are cheap: better habits, a door that actually closes, a visitor process people follow.

Fixes are often supported by access control reviews and threat awareness training. Commission a test.
