Several weeks ago, we conducted some expert witness work that needed to be completed urgently for an investigation being carried out on a fraud case. Although the digital forensic piece was only a small part of the investigation it uncovered some other potential leads and evidence showing the fraudulent activities that had occurred on the examined laptop.
The work carried out was well received, and our Director of Cyber Security and Electronic Counter Measures, Gurpreet Singh Thathy was asked to brief the wider team on the findings of the investigation. As these type of investigations are often complicated Gurpreet prefers to brief the findings in person to ensure all detail is covered and nothing is overlooked, or at least that’s what he tells us, of course it had nothing to do with the free lunch on offer ?
