Friday last week was a busy day for us. An early start as Gurpreet and Dave needed to be in Norwich for a meeting, a week’s long surveillance and investigation had come to an end and they were attending the task debrief before updating the client with the team leader. Once complete, they headed back towards London stopping off in the Haverhill area to visit HMP-Highpoint (approx. 25km east of Cambridge). We needed to speak to a contact who had insight into another investigation we are involved in. Both the tasking and the meeting were successful and put us in good spirits as we headed back to London just in time for the Friday rush hour ☹, the A/M11 can be painful at the best of times but as we ground to the inevitable standstill at least there were some interesting cloud formations to keep us entertained.
